The world will be saved by the western woman. – The Dalai Lama
The world needs women – to lead, to teach, to create, to thrive, to be empowered, to be healthy, to be fully engaged in finding the solutions to the many challenges that our planet, our nation, and our communities are facing.
Healthy Women Healthy Earth is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their personal health and well-being through programs that teach and promote self-care, healthy lifestyles and connection to Mother Earth. We are currently in our 4th year of offering programs.
You are invited to participate: Women who care about the planet, the climate crisis and everything that links to it are invited to join Helene Van Manen for 2 free monthly zoom calls. Led by Helene, you will get information and support for digesting the challenges of living on the planet today. The design of this program is based on the feedback that we received about women needing more support to cope with larger issues, and also how to intentionally live Earth-centered values. This call will fulfill a need that many women have expressed – the desire to have a community of concern for regular information and support.
Listen to the Green Women Podcast led by Reggie Weber.
In this episode Reggie speaks with Mindy Meiering, LCSW, a licensed therapist, certified life and retreat coach and the author/creator of the Rainbow Bridge Pet Loss Deck, a healing tool that supports people after the loss of a pet. She also works with people who are navigating various types of loss and life transitions, offering them tools to cultivate resilience and healing. This conversation links deeply to the experience Green Women are having in relationship to the climate crisis. It will touch you. Mindy is also on the Board of Directors of HealthyWomenHealthyEarth.org
The Board of Directors for HealthyWomenHealthyEarth.org are inspired leaders who know the value of investing in the development of other women. Read about them here.
