The world will we saved by the western woman. – The Dalai Lama
The world needs women – to lead, to teach, to create, to thrive, to be empowered, to be healthy, to be fully engaged in finding the solutions to the many challenges that our planet, our nation, and our communities are facing.
Healthy Women Healthy Earth is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their personal health and well-being through programs that teach and promote self-care, healthy lifestyles and connection to Mother Earth. Through a grant from the Sisters of Mercy and support from private donors….we are proud to offer this program starting September 2019.
Our 10 month program will empower 12 strong women to rise up and to make a difference in their own lives so they can have the skills, support, and knowledge necessary to design and initiate a project or other endeavor that will address a need in their home communities.
The Earth Needs Her
Her life is meaningful.
We believe that supporting women to take their powerful place on the planet is worth investing in.
She Will Grow Herself
We support her to put her roots down so she can rise up.
We believe that women can achieve their goals when they have the support and accountability that a strong leadership group can provide.
The Green Women Program includes:
In Person Colorado Trainings
The Green Women Leadership Training includes two in-person multi-day training retreats, one taking place in the fall of 2019, the second in late spring of 2020. Our base camp will be a Colorado retreat center with easy access to natural areas for earth education. Through this component of the training, we will explore new ways of being in relationship with ourselves, our work, each other and the Earth while exploring tools for personal and as well as collective transformation.
Monthly Coaching Sessions
Each participating woman will receive a total of ten coaching sessions, scheduled once per month and will take place via phone, in person, or through a virtual face-to-face meeting. These coaching sessions will provide personalized support and guidance for each woman as her project and personal growth develops and unfolds.
Monthly Virtual Training Sessions
Virtually facilitated training calls (Zoom), will take place once a month. These calls will provide continued training and group support as the women dive deeper into the details of their chosen projects, along with providing opportunities for continued professional and personal development.
Learning Partner Support
Women find support in their connection to each other along with connection to the Earth. Women will connect monthly with an assigned partner for planning, project development and accountability. The partner connection will help these women build a strong leadership network.
She will make a difference in her community.
Give her the tools to flourish.
