March 2021: Hibernating to Emerging
April Session: Questions to work with:
“Our experience of ourselves becomes the over-arching experience of others and of the world.” ~David Daniels, MD
HOW DO WE DEVELOP COMPASSION FOR SELF?
HOW DO WE FALL IN LOVE WITH OURSELVES?
HOW DO WE FALL IN LOVE WITH OURSELVES WITHOUT BECOMING ALL ABOUT OURSELVES?
WHAT IS IT TO UNINHIBITEDLY SHOW UP?
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE TO HAVE AN OPEN AND EXPANDED SENSE OF SELF?
WHAT IS IT TO RELINQUISH CONTROL AND SURRENDER?
WHAT IS IT TO FULLY SHOW UP?
WHAT IS IT TO BE EXPOSED TO ANOTHER?
IS THERE ANY PART OF YOU THAT FEELS EMBARRASSMENT TOWARD ANY PART OF YOURSELF? UNCOMFORTABLE WITH YOUR OWN NAKEDNESS…LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY? ANY SHAME TOWARD PRIVATE FEELINGS OR DESIRES?
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO HAVE A DEEP SELF-INTIMACY? Do you think there are different levels? Young child, Teenager, Woman?

Vow to Self and The World
I vow to myself and to each of you : To commit myself daily to the healing of our world and the welfare of all Beings.
To live on Earth more lightly and less violently in the food, and energy I consume.
To draw strength and guidance from the living Earth, the ancestors, the future generations,
and my brothers and sisters of all species.
To support others in our work for the world and to ask for help when I need it.
To pursue a daily practice that clarifies my mind, strengthens my heart,
and supports me in observing these vows.” –Joanna Macy
“Let’s take a moment to remember why we are here.
Let’s remember our love for this beautiful planet.
Let’s remember our love for all humanity in all corners of the world.
As we act today, may we find the courage to bring a sense of love and peace and appreciation
to everyone we encounter and every word we speak. We are here for all of us.”
“Declaration of Solemn Intent” from the Extinction Rebellion #ExtinctionRebellion
January 2021: Your Vision is Powerful
The dream drives the action. – Thomas Berry
Engage in the January month of visioning for your earthwork.
Questions to work with for January:
What is my unique work in the world?
What am I meant to bring forth this year to make a difference?
What do I need to get clear on so that I do it in a way and rhythm that is right for me?
What do I want to be able to say in June 2021 about my project?
At Marco tell the story of WHO you are, Why you are here and the How of the way you live (Terri)
At Marco share these two things: How I have grown this past year. And…name how you have seen others grown. This is a way we
can witness each others brilliance. ( Sunder )

We will be working over the next 2 months on boosting our inner ecosystem from the standpoint of wellness and prevention. I always find it helpful to have a visual of myself looking really healthy. Find a picture of yourself when your inner ecosystem was in balance and place it in your journal. Around that image, ask yourself: What are you aware of in this picture? Are you currently in balance and why is that important to my work? Use your personal health questions in the documents from October to develop a plan or set an intention for your preventative health, such as when is my mammogram due? When do I need to schedule a physical exam and bloodwork? How soon do I need my eyes checked? ETC…. Part of that plan may be finding the resources to pay for preventative care, looking for low cost clinics or programs that cover your needs….or finding a provider you can trust. Caring for our bodies is the ultimate in self care!
